The Most advanced of our workshop, it is designed for people who possess basic encaustic skills, and want to take their work to the next level by going larger, up to 36" x 36". This workshop is kept small, so that each artist can have a great deal of individual attention.

This four day wax encaustic workshop will cover all the basics, but the emphasis will be on enabling you to refine your encaustic techniques, and to move a little farther with your encaustic painting. Along with learning how to make paint, about supports, and techniques: paint application, fusing, glazing inscribing and mixed media approaches, we will emphasize how these techniques can be developed to create a unique encaustic language for each student. This small workshop (no more than 6), is designed for people with some previous encaustic experience, and students can work up to 24" x24" on their own cradled panels.
